Hi, I’m Carly!
Over the last 10+ years I have worked with startups, small businesses, and fortune 100 companies to create established brands, grow design teams, and facilitate company wide brand alignment.
I began my career early as a fine artist focusing on acrylic painting and portraiture. Design was the one thing I actually said I would never do because it felt like cheating using a computer instead of paintbrushes. I couldn’t have been more wrong. When I discovered design for development and began my career journey in product design and brand strategy, everything changed.
Over the last 10 years I have fallen in love with making design objective and driven by data. I love finding patterns and reasons why we make certain design decisions that resonate with our audiences.
In my experience, art is subjective and subject to opinions, impactful design should be objective and testable.
I have had the privilege of working with amazing brands and people over the years, and have moved into leadership positions where I have found some of my most fulfilling work. Leading and mentoring skilled designers, growing brands, and designing impactful products is a passion, not a job, and I am blessed to call what I do work.
